Modi Run: Which Running Game Is It?

The clip versus the 2013 app

A three-lane chase and a side-scrolling platformer are different games even when a short caption calls both Modi running. Caught Modi is the current browser chase. Modi Run is the older Android title by Dexati. BBC Hindi covered Modi Run on 23 September 2013 and said it had reached Google Play a few weeks earlier. That dates the coverage, rather than supplying an exact release day. The BBC account also quotes the developer saying the game was made for entertainment and was not sponsored by the BJP or Narendra Modi.

Vice independently described Modi Run on 1 June 2018 and reported over one million installs at that time. That is a historical press figure, with one source for the number, not a current store counter. The BBC and Vice together support the identity of the older obstacle runner. They do not independently confirm a present-day download total, version, or APK size.

What the 2013 write-ups say you do

BBC Hindi describes twelve levels named for Indian states: Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh. You guide the character over obstacles toward a ballot box. Vice describes the same election-themed obstacle running against state backgrounds. The twelve-level detail belongs to the 2013 BBC account; it is not presented as a count for an unidentified later build.

The Play URL for com.dexati.modirun and the former Uptodown page both returned 404 on 4 November 2026. The old package name remains useful for distinguishing this title from newer runners, but neither unavailable page is an install destination. Current version, file size, and store rating stay blank. If your goal is to play immediately rather than identify an old app, follow the Caught Modi guide instead.
