Privacy Policy

This policy matches the scripts this site actually ships. Every vendor named below is loaded by the page; nothing is left as a promise for a later edit.

Default loading, and how to turn it off

Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra advertising load on the first view, without waiting for a click. The cookie banner is a notice and a withdrawal switch, not a gate: Accept keeps the default, Reject turns all three off, and that refusal is stored in this browser for 180 days.

No stored choice counts as granted, which is why the first page view already contacts those vendors. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is treated as a refusal even on a first visit. The footer link Cookie settings reopens the same two buttons at any time, so a refusal can be withdrawn and a grant can be withdrawn.

Accept and Reject record your explicit preference. Default loading is the technical behaviour of this site; merely displaying a notice does not establish that you gave consent. Analytics, recording and advertising may involve personal data and international transfers under the vendor policies linked below. Use Reject to stop these services.

Google Analytics 4

GA4 measures page views, scroll and outbound clicks so we can tell which guides are read. The gtag.js loader is served from googletagmanager.com and reports to google-analytics.com. The property uses Consent Mode v2 with analytics_storage granted by default; Reject sends a consent update that denies analytics and the three ad signals.

GA4 may set first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Cookie lifetime and event retention depend on the property and vendor settings; we have not independently confirmed a fixed retention period for this property. Google’s privacy terms are at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can refuse with the banner, block the cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Microsoft Clarity

Clarity records anonymised sessions and builds heatmaps so we can see where a page is hard to use. The project id is z88fixlhf7. The loader is created by this site and fetches the tag from clarity.ms; recordings are sent to *.clarity.ms. Clarity masks form inputs and other sensitive content by default.

Clarity may set the cookies _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK and SM, and stores a consent value in local storage. Retention depends on the data type and Clarity’s current project settings and policy. Reject calls Clarity’s consent API with denied and reloads the page without the recorder; you can also use the Microsoft privacy dashboard at https://account.microsoft.com/privacy or block *.clarity.ms in your browser.

Adsterra advertising

Adsterra supplies the two ad placements on this site: Native Banner (unit NativeBanner_1, id 32085475) in the page and Social Bar (unit SocialBar_1, id 32085476) as a dismissible fixed bar. Our publisher id is 3403020 and adult ads are switched off in the Adsterra dashboard. The tags are created by our own loader from strings in the page; the initial HTML does not contain an ad script tag.

Adsterra and its demand partners may set cookies or similar identifiers under bicea.org and under the creative domains they serve, for frequency capping, fraud prevention and personalised advertising. Those cookie names are chosen by the network and are not readable from our pages; we do not receive the cookie jar. Adsterra’s own notice is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/.

You can refuse personalised advertising through the banner, through the NAI opt-out at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/, through the DAA choice page at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/, or through your browser’s cookie controls. Reject removes the ad tags already on the page. The Social Bar has its own close button; closing it writes mg_ad_closed so it stays closed on later visits until you clear site data.

The two records this site keeps

mg_consent is a local-storage key holding your choice and its timestamp. It is written when you press Accept or Reject, or when a browser privacy signal requests refusal, and expires after 180 days. An absent record enables default loading and keeps the notice visible until you choose. The record stays on your device.

mg_ad_closed is a local-storage key set to "1" when you close the Social Bar. It has no expiry of its own and lasts until you clear site data. Neither key is a cookie, neither is sent to a server, and clearing site data removes both. The legal basis for both is your settings on this device.

YouTube and other third parties

Some game pages offer a video. The player is a button: nothing contacts YouTube until you press it, then the frame loads from www.youtube-nocookie.com in privacy-enhanced mode. Google may process player requests and set its own cookies under the YouTube privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Close the tab to stop the frame. There is no traffic-mesh or other banner SDK on this site, and no AdSense, Taboola, Outbrain or social embed.

Hosting and email routing use Cloudflare. It may process IP addresses, user agents, requested paths and email-routing information to deliver and secure these services under https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. Mail addressed to this domain is routed to our mail-hub Worker for correspondence. We use messages to handle your request; you can ask for a copy or deletion by writing to the same address. We have not set a published fixed deletion schedule for correspondence or hosting logs.

Your rights and how to use them

You can withdraw consent with Reject or Cookie settings, request access, correction or deletion of correspondence, and object to analytics or advertising. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and the games indexed here are links to other publishers, not files we host. This policy changes by editing this page; the check date in the footer is the date the vendors above were last verified against the built site.

FAQ

Do analytics and ads load before I click Accept?

Yes. GA4, Clarity and Adsterra load on the first view. Accept keeps that default; Reject turns all three off and is remembered for 180 days.

Which cookie names should I look for?

GA4 uses _ga and _ga_<container-id>; Clarity uses _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK and SM. The site itself stores only mg_consent and mg_ad_closed in local storage. Adsterra names its own cookies under bicea.org.

How do I stop personalised ads?

Press Reject, or use the NAI opt-out at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/ or the DAA choices page at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/. Reject removes the Adsterra tags already on the page.

What happens to a video I press play on?

A privacy-enhanced YouTube frame loads from www.youtube-nocookie.com and Google’s policy applies to that frame. We do not receive its cookie jar.
